About the Design:

• Commissioned in 2018 by the head of El Aquelarre - Teatro in Madrid.

• The client had provided a simple, rough sketch that was created after a group discussion with the other theater group members. She had asked for me to expand upon the idea of incorporating the "sock and buskin" drama masks with the moon representing two phases. To both incorporate her suggestion and create interest, I added fine details to the face and added a waving banner to each side of the moon to add theatrical flare. The typeface used for the name is "Princess Sofia."
